1. How do you usually work with clients?
We work with you to re-establish the momentum you need to successfully execute the demands of your role and build a sustainable set of skills that will elevate your effectiveness, impact and potential to a level you didn’t know you were capable of. Our destination is the intersection of skills, behaviors and traits required to drive your career trajectory in a manner that allows your unique imprint and personal characteristics to shine through.

Why:

The curtain is up and the spotlight is on you today. The value you bring to an organization is based on what you contribute now and what key decision makers believe you can contribute in the future. If the business believes you are someone who can continue to take on new, challenging duties and make a larger contribution in the future they will invest in you, nurture you and demonstrate their desire to make sure you stick around. That is the position you want and need to be in. But that will only happen if you are highly successful in what you are doing now. Momentum never stays the same, it either works for you or against you. How:

The Transition Mastery Program (TPM) is a proven roadmap of personal & professional growth based on best practice Sales/Marketing/Leadership standards, empathetic but direct coaching applied to real-time client priorities delivered in a well-defined six stage process taking place over six months. TPM is tailored individually to the needs and situation of each client with the most suitable tools used depending on the best fit for use. Commitment and a willingness and desire to stretch your comfort zone are must-haves. This is not a pop-in and out proposition. I work with a limited number of clients at any time and give you the level of access you wish to meet your goals.

3. Who is Tom Rose?

Early in my career I found myself surrounded by many talented peers who attended top-tier universities. As a ‘just get by’ State College student I felt like a fish out of water and had no expectation of doing much in the world of business. One year into the white-collar world I seriously considered becoming a train conductor.

Facing a fight-or-flight moment I picked-up a copy of How to Win Friends and Influence People at Grand Central Station. Over the weekend I devoured it and by Monday, upon engaging others, I discovered that I had a secret weapon that could give me a competitive advantage – Honest Self Discovery and Purposeful Personal Development. I had to overcome my feelings of being less than others and convince myself that I belonged and could be successful in this environment which didn’t come easily to me. Over my career I was promoted sixteen times, held Sales, Marketing and Customer Marketing functional head roles in very large and smaller businesses, worked extensively on every continent (other than Antarctica) and served on Executive Leadership teams for more than twenty years. On paper, this might seem impressive but it certainly wasn’t easy. I am exceedingly familiar with the stress and downright fear that engulfs you as you stare up at a steep learning curve while others stare at you with impatience and high expectations. In 2007, at a Leadership Retreat working on our individual Life Purpose, I came to understand that my greatest professional satisfaction came from helping others fulfill their potential and achieve more than they ever imagined possible. This continues to be my passion today.

As I have never stopped endeavoring to learn and grow, In 2010 while living and working in London, I graduated with honors with a Masters Degree in Professional Development and Executive Coaching from Middlesex University. Since I have received three IFC sanctioned Coaching certifications and have spent the last three years coaching and mentoring small businesses. In my life and career, I’ve had three coaches who changed my life and I am deeply indebted to each of them.

This year my wife and I will celebrate thirty-seven years of marriage and I have become a big believer in the institution of marriage. We are immensely proud of our two adult children, Jess and Max, who are both really good people. In 2016 I was given another chance to get this life-thing right surviving stage three Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma, which has a big impact on how I live my life every day.

My Philosophy: I believe that every person has the potential to achieve great things provided they have the confidence, motivation and support to do so. Those that truly commit to stretch their comfort zones, and use the resources available to them well, will achieve things they never imagined possible.
